I think that this ad has bigger picture then the words because they want us to focus more on the pictures. the thing that this makes me think is that when you smoke, its killing you or harming you by having lung problems or even cancer. the picture on the left shows this women smoking and the smoke is going around her neck like if it was going to choke her to me that means that the smoke is giving her breathing problems, the picture on the right is a knife near the vain's and to mean that repreadents that there dieing slowly. these are my thought on both of the pictures on smoking ad's 

Blog#3I learned that people that advertise there products have something bad in it. for example the company dove have commercial of it being a good product, they use dove as a beauty thing but what we don’t know is that there killing tones of tree. The reason that they cut so many trees is to get palm oil out of them, but the thing that they don’t know is that there affecting animals as well by killing them or destroying their homes. The thing that most interested me was seeing that dove isn’t that really good of a company.

Watching  these advertisements in class was different than I would usually watch at home because at home I wouldn’t really watch them I would switch the channel or go somewhere else the reason I barley watch advertisements is because my mom always told me there fake that they don’t really work and there a waist of money.

The advertisements that I see on a daily basis are the beer commercials. The commercial is about people at this party and all of a sudden this one guy comes and brings out the good, cold, yummy looking beer and they started partying. I see this advertisement the most on TV. I don’t think this ad is affecting me at all but there’s time when I’m super thirsty and when this commercial comes up it makes me want to buy beer. I don’t think this affects me in any way but sometimes it really gets my attention and makes me want to try it but otherwise it wouldn’t. There’s other that get my attention as well but I don’t think ads can really make you really want to do it. These are my opinions on advertisements. I guess different people get more attention than other people do.   

First Blog

I believe that if there wasn’t any TV, internet, movies etc... I would focus more on school, books and other stuff. I would most likely be reading every day and night because my imagination would be my TV where I could imagine things from the story as I am reading and could pretend I’m in it as well. I would have been one of the best readers and would have loved to read. I would spend my free time mostly in the outdoors where I could play and hang out with friends. I would have tried every single sport. I would always have good grades and not fail any of my classes because there wouldn’t be anything that would distract me from getting them. Homework would have been easier to focus on and would have been always completed. I would have grown up as a successful person and have knowledge of my own. That’s how I view it but don’t want it to seem that all electronic things are bad. Only if you use them the proper way, life would be easier with them, then without them. I mean we can learn about every country or state with the internet or learn stuff on YouTube. If there's time we can really use the electronics but only in a proper time.
